My name is Zoe, and I’m reaching out for help to support Kitrina, someone who means so much to our family.

Kitrina has been one of our daughter Olive’s best friends for several years. Over that time, she’s become part of our family too. We’ve been alongside her through some difficult times at home, and we love her dearly.

Kitrina recently lost her mum following a tragic accident. At 15, she’s facing an enormous loss, along with uncertainty about what comes next.

She’s an incredible young woman. She’s in Grade 11, works hard at school, and gets involved in just about any sport she can - most recently rugby and flag football. She’s a team player with so much ahead of her, and we want her to have the support and opportunities to pursue the future she’s working towards.

With very little family support, Kitrina is relying on close friends and the people who love her. We’re still figuring things out together, but we want her to know she has people she can count on, now and in the years ahead.

We’ve started this fundraiser to help with her everyday needs, provide some financial security as she finishes high school, and contribute towards her education after graduation. Some of the funds may also be used for a small celebration of life for her mum, giving Kitrina a chance to say goodbye to her Mom properly.

Our hope is to take some of the financial worry off her shoulders. She needs time to grieve and space to think about what she wants next, knowing she won’t have to figure it all out on her own.
