Supporting Kids After Sudden Loss of Their Veteran Dad
Donation protected
On June 18th, our world changed forever. My son, his 13 year old sister, and their long time step brother all lost their father, Michael Lanthier, in the blink of an eye far too soon. He passed away tragically and suddenly in the mountains of Colorado.
He was a decorated Army veteran who proudly served his country, but more than that, he was an incredible dad who was deeply loved by his children, friends, and family. He had a new career in healing PTSD through his music, he was starting the build of cabin in Colorado, our home state that he loved so much. There are little to no words to describe who Mike was as a soul, but he is one that is irreplaceable and lost far too soon.
Our kids were left behind by a father they very much still needed. All of them still needed their dad: emotionally, financially, and in all the quiet ways that don’t fit into words.
We’re raising funds to:
- Help with urgent end-of-life expenses
- Travel expenses for his children to be in Colorado at this time
- Navigate this heartbreaking transition with as much care and stability as possible for each of the children as they will need it more now than ever.
If you feel able to help, whether by donating, sharing, or just sending love, we’re beyond grateful. Every bit counts, and these kids will feel the impact of your kindness for a long time to come.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring.
