We are incredibly proud of our Under 11s football team. A group of determined, enthusiastic young players who show teamwork, resilience, and heart both on and off the pitch.
This fundraiser has a very special meaning for us. One of our teammates has shown remarkable courage after receiving a life‑changing kidney transplant. Thanks to the incredible work of medical teams, he is now able to return to doing what loves most: playing football with his friends. To give something back and help others facing similar challenges, our team is raising money for Kidney Research UK, whose research and support transform and save lives every day.
To raise these funds, on Sunday 7th June the children, siblings and their parents are taking on a huge collective challenge: 500,000 metres completed across cycling, rowing, and ski erg machines at The Stronghold Gym, Cheltenham.
Every metre will be earned through teamwork, determination, and hard work. A true reflection of the spirit of this team.
Alongside fundraising for Kidney Research UK, we are also raising money to help cover the cost of a new playing kit for the team. The new kit will proudly feature Kidney Research UK as the shirt sponsor, helping to raise awareness of kidney disease and the vital work the charity does.
Please note that Kidney Research UK are not contributing financially towards the cost of the kit. The sponsorship logo is a way for us to show gratitude, raise awareness, and keep their cause close to the team’s hearts every time they take the pitch.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference by:
• Supporting vital kidney research and future transplants
• Helping fund a new team kit featuring Kidney Research UK as the shirt sponsor
Thank you so much for your generosity, encouragement, and support. Please donate if you can, or share our page to help us reach our goal.
Together, we can go the distance, one metre at a time.
