MACE, the staff union of the frontline workers of AFSCME Council 5 MN heard the terrible news that our brother and coworker Khalid Abdi was shot and killed while he was celebrating Eid al-Ahda on the morning of 5/27/26 in Shakopee. This news is shocking for our MACE siblings. We are initiating this fundraiser for our wider community to support his family directly. Khalid was a husband and expectant father. All funds raise will be directed towards his young family.
