Supporting Kathy Thomas After Devastating Fire

I have created this fundraiser in hopes of helping our mom, Kathy Thomas. As many of you know, she lost everything in a horrific house fire in the middle of the night on Wednesday, June 19th. By some miracle, she woke up and made it out safely.

All she currently has are the clothes on her back that she fled the house with that night. We tried salvaging anything we could, but everything has been ruined by the fire, water and smoke. Her home of 36 years is a total loss and all of her belongings that she has worked her whole life for, have been destroyed. She has always taken so much pride in her home. It was always meticulously maintained, and she spent so much time, money and care in the last few years having it repaired and renovated for her to finally be comfortable in retirement. We are heartbroken and it's going to be a long road to rebuild and find some type of normalcy.

Anyone who knows Kathy, knows she's a tough cookie and never asks for help, so we are doing it for her. Please consider helping her get through the next several weeks and months ahead. She is in need of immediate assistance to help cover the cost of temporary housing, clothing, food, and every other daily essential that she's lost.

We appreciate anything and everything you can do to support her during this devastating time.. even if it's just keeping her in your prayers or sharing this post. <3 The outpouring of concern from all the firefighters, emergency responders, neighbors, friends, and family has been overwhelming and we are so thankful. Kathy has overcome a lot in her lifetime, so we have no doubt that with your help, she'll be back on her feet with her head held high.
