On July 22, our dear friend Karthik Rajagopalan left home on what should have been a routine trip to pick up a few household items. Tragically, he never returned. After hours of anxious searching, prayers, and hope, our worst fears became reality when Karthik was identified as deceased. Our hearts are shattered by this unimaginable loss.

Karthik was much more than a provider for his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, an incredible friend, and someone who always put others before himself. His kindness, warmth, infectious smile, and generous spirit touched everyone who knew him. Whether he was spending time with his family, lending a helping hand to a friend, or enjoying his lifelong passion for volleyball, Karthik brought joy and positivity wherever he went. He was the kind of person who gave without expecting anything in return.

Today, Karthik's wife, Chitra, faces a future no family should ever have to endure. Along with the overwhelming grief of losing her husband, she is now carrying the responsibility of rebuilding their lives, supporting their daughter through college, managing everyday household expenses, and working toward finding stable employment.

One of Karthik's greatest dreams was to see his daughter earn admission to a great college and build the bright future he always envisioned for her. He believed deeply in the power of education and worked tirelessly to provide every opportunity for her success.
