We at Acosta Heating & Cooling want to support Karizma and her parents as her father has been part of the Acosta work family for over 3 years now. We decided to enlist the help of all that are able to give in any way.

Karizma is a vibrant teenager participating in all the fun of high school years. Early one January day at 16 years old her parents spotted a lump on her neck and brought her to the doctor thinking it was a simple swollen lymph node. They found out quickly it was no ordinary illness. She was diagnosed with lymphoma and was scheduled to begin chemotherapy right away. Her prom was the very next week and she would have missed that major event in her life if not for the doctor holding off for her to have that memory. Chemo started right after the prom and it has been a difficult, emotional ride ever since.
Needless to say this has been heart wrenching for the entire family! And this came on the heels of her father coming off a 9 month layoff due to a work injury. The financial repercussions have been devastating and they have only just begun to fight this battle. The doctors are continuing to research her illness as it is very rare. We will update as we get more detailed information.
Any donations will be used to support Karizma for medical treatments, transportation costs, and any miscellaneous expenditures that come up.
