On December 29th, 2025, my life was forever changed by a tragic car accident. In a single moment, everything I knew was taken from me.

During the impact, the airbag deployed with such force that a large piece of plastic was driven through my left eye and into my brain, causing severe brain bleeding. My left eye was completely destroyed, along with my optic nerve, and it had to be surgically removed. It is nothing short of a miracle that I am alive, but the reality of losing my eye is devastating and something I am still trying to process.

In addition to losing my eye, I suffered serious injuries to my knees and ankle. I am currently using a walker to move around and am unable to leave my home or perform many basic daily tasks on my own. Simple things that most people take for granted like walking, cooking, cleaning, even showering, have become painful and exhausting challenges.

The physical injuries are only part of the battle. The emotional and mental trauma from this accident has been overwhelming. Adjusting to life with one eye, coping with the sudden loss of independence, and trying to find strength through the fear and uncertainty has been incredibly hard. This is a journey I never imagined I would have to take at such a young age.

This GoFundMe has been created to help cover the many costs associated with my healing and recovery. This includes medical expenses, rehabilitation, mobility support, and exploring options for a prosthetic eye. While a prosthetic eye will not restore my vision, it can help me feel whole and normal again. I am also looking into the possibility of a bionic eye - a very new and extremely expensive technology which could potentially restore up to 60% of my vision and give me a chance at seeing again.
