Our friend and colleague, Kamal, is currently facing an incredibly difficult medical battle.

Over the past several months, Kamal has been in and out of the hospital due to severe health complications related to Stage 4 kidney failure. Last week, his condition became critical, and he experienced multiple medical emergencies requiring intensive care, including intubation. While he has recently been extubated, he still has a very long road ahead.

In addition to these complications, Kamal is now facing the devastating reality of bilateral lower leg amputations due to severe infection and circulation issues.

Anyone who knows Kamal knows his strength, resilience, and kindness. Throughout his career, Kamal has always been the first to lend a helping hand — not only to his own team, but to neighboring and sister hotels whenever support was needed. He takes great pride in cultivating talent, encouraging others to grow, step outside their comfort zones, and “spread their wings” to help those around them. His leadership and generosity have impacted so many people both personally and professionally.

During this unimaginable time, we want to help ease some of the financial burden he and his family are facing — including medical expenses, rehabilitation, recovery needs, and daily living costs during what will be a life-changing transition.
