On November 10th, 2025, my dear friends — who are more like my sisters — faced the unimaginable. Kadyn and Sydney lost their mom, Roni, unexpectedly, and their world has been turned completely upside down.

If you know Kadyn and Sydney, you know they feel like everyone’s sisters. They are the kind of women who pour love into every person they meet — generous, warm, outgoing, and endlessly giving. And if you ever wondered where that love came from, the answer was always their mom, Roni.

Roni wasn’t just their mother. She was their backbone. She was the first phone call when life got heavy or when something good happened. She helped raise their babies while they worked and went to school. She shaped them into the strong, independent women they are today. Losing her has not only broken their hearts, but it has also reshaped every part of their daily lives — including their childcare and their ability to work as they grieve.

They’ve been out of work for the past week, trying to hold themselves together while also taking care of their little ones. No one is ever prepared for a loss like this, emotionally or financially.

We are coming together to help ease some of the burden during this devastating time. Funds raised will go toward the cost of Roni’s cremation, her urn, a celebration of life, and any unexpected expenses that have come up while Kadyn and Sydney navigate their grief and try to keep life steady for their children.
