On August 10th, Justin and his family received some very devastating news. He was diagnosed with acute b-cell lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).
Treament started immediately. Justin will be undergoing 8 rounds of chemo in the hospital, 21 days apart. Each round will keep him in the hospital for 4-7 days and he will be monitored in the outpatient clinic between sessions. If there are findings from the bone marrow biopsy that indicate the greatest chance of success is a bone marrow transplant, he will go to Boston for treatment.
For now, we are optimistic about his treatment and very confident in his oncology team. We appreciate all the love, support and positive energy, vibes and prayers that people send our way.
Justin has shown amazing strength, courage and positivity. We are confident he will crush this cancer and it is one blip in his journey!
Please share your love and support with the Keelty family. The road to recovery will be a long and intense one. Along the way, your financial support will help with many needed expenses, including childcare for their almost-3 year old, Aiden and newborn, Finn.
We wish Justin, Heather, Aiden, and Finn the very best on this journey, and that Justin’s treatment is successful to bring the outcome we are all praying for!!! Justin you got this!! Xoxo
