Supporting Justine’s Cancer Journey

Donation protected
Our dear friend, Justine Shelley-White has unfortunately been diagnosed with stage four cancer.

In late November 2023, Justine begun experiencing migraines which became so severe that she required life saving, emergency surgery to release pressure on her brain. Devastatingly, the pressure was being caused by multiple brain tumours which were linked to a recurrence of the breast cancer she had been in remission for since 2015.

Unfortunately, Justine’s cancer is aggressive. She has now had multiple brain surgeries to remove the largest of the tumours, radiation treatment and has begun chemotherapy. These and other treatments will be required on an ongoing basis for the foreseeable future.

The surgery and cancer itself have left Justine with vision issues, inability to concentrate, severe fatigue and reduced her physical mobility and capacity. Recently the cancer has appeared in her bones which have become compromised – currently both of Justine’s arms have fractures and she has severe back pain.

Working and caring for her beautiful family have become almost impossible.

Justine is a loving wife to Scott and mum to Sienna (12) and Lachie (9). As we all know, she is a beautiful soul, caring and compassionate with a positive attitude, great sense of fun and love for her family and life.
She is a tireless member of the St Mary’s Primary School & Parish and valuable contributor to the Hampton Community.

Justine established and grew a small tutoring business - Mfacts – with the goal of helping local children improve their maths. As the key person at Mfacts, the business will now need to hire employees if it’s to continue given Justine is currently unable to work.

This unexpected, life changing diagnosis is obviously devastating to Justine and the Whyte family.

Whilst reluctant to seek help, the family would be extremely grateful for any donations to help to ease the financial burden and allow them to focus on Justine’s treatment and enjoying invaluable quality time together.

Justine and the Whyte’s are going to face many challenges, it would be amazing if we can help to ensure that financial difficulty is one less issue for them to worry about.
