Supporting Jules Through Her Leukemia Battle
Donation protected
Jules and Phil could really use your prayers and support.
It all started when Jules wasn’t feeling well and went to urgent care. After some blood work, the results came back two days later while she was traveling for work in Winston-Salem, NC. The urgent care doctor called with concerning news and told her to go straight to the ER. On March 3, Jules went to Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, where more tests were done, and that’s when she was informed she has leukemia. After spending the next few days there, she was transferred to Duke Hospital for inpatient chemotherapy. As you can imagine, this sudden diagnosis has impacted her, her fiancé Phil, and their family with an array of challenges.
Jules and Phil were engaged in December, and live in Wilmington, NC. While Phil has returned to work on a modified schedule, he’s traveling back and forth often to be with Jules at Duke. The situation is incredibly difficult on them both, and along with the physical and emotional strain, they’re facing a growing financial burden. Jules will spend the next month at Duke for inpatient chemotherapy followed by months of outpatient chemo and will need to relocate near Duke for the foreseeable future. Medical bills, treatments, travel, and numerous other unexpected costs are quickly adding up, creating additional stress.
To help ease some of that financial strain, a fundraiser has begun to assist. Jules and Phil are both incredibly strong, but the reality of this fight, both physically and financially, is a lot for anyone to manage on their own. Your kind contribution, whether a financial donation and/or simply sharing the fundraiser with others, would be a tremendous help. Your prayers and financial support in any way would mean the world to them as they navigate this difficult journey.
Thank you for your consideration!!
