Hello — my name is Donna, and I’m a close friend of Josh Lyons. I’m reaching out today on his behalf because he is courageously battling stage 3 throat cancer.

Josh’s treatment is already placing an immense burden on him — physically, emotionally, and financially. Because of the severity of his condition, the tumor has impacted his jaw, making it extremely difficult for him to speak. He simply cannot return to work for at least six months, which means no steady income during that time.

To make matters more difficult, his employer was kind enough to cover his pay through this month — but beyond that, he will not be compensated. And while he was out, his health insurance was temporarily dropped, so he has had to secure new coverage at a time he can least afford it. Medical costs, living expenses, and insurance bills are stacking up fast.

We are humbly asking for $10,000 in support to help Josh through this critical period. These funds will be used to:

Cover uninsured medical expenses (treatments, scans, medications)

Pay for health insurance premiums until he returns to work

Support day-to-day living costs (housing, utilities, groceries)

Cover related costs such as travel to treatment and essential care
