On September 5th my father was working roadside on a culvert repair when a car, operated by an impaired driver on a suspended license, struck him from behind.

He was airlifted to Youngstown & placed in the trauma unit where he will be for the foreseeable future. He will be undergoing surgeries, treatment & eventually rehabilitation for the several injuries he sustained.

The impact of the car shattered his foot/ankle, he has a compound fracture, broken ribs, damage to his ear drum, and head trauma (skull fracture, brain bleed/swelling).

My father is one of the hardest workers who never asks for anything in return & he would do anything for anyone.

I am making this in an attempt to return the favor.. to help provide for him in his time of need and help ease the financial burden as he was the sole provider. This will help him focus on his healing & get back to what he enjoys most, which is spending time on the farm with his family.

All proceeds will go directly to my parents to help with their bills, recovery, and modifications that we will be doing at the house as he will be non weight bearing for a while.

We are humbled by the concern & outreach that has been pouring in. And I can assure you any & all contributions, shares, thoughts or prayers will be received with the upmost gratitude.
