Since its inception, the National Jockeys Trust has supported more than 550 ill and injured jockeys and their families, providing over $6.5 million in assistance to those in need.

The Trust helps both current and former jockeys. With mandatory superannuation only introduced in 2014, many riders retired with little financial security while also dealing with significant injuries sustained during their careers.

The National Jockeys Trust assists jockeys as they recover and return to riding after injury, and also helps cover essential living costs for those who are no longer able to race.
