On behalf of Joby John & Jomol Joseph , Maitland Malayalee Association is reaching out for your support during a challenging time that their family is going through. Joby & Jomol moved just 2 years ago to start a new life here at Maitland. They are valued members and liked by everyone in our local community in Maitland (Australia) through their active involvement and participation. Things were going smooth for them till late, when their life took a turn for worse, with an agonizing situation involving Joby’s mother.

On Saturday 18th October 2025, Mrs Thresyamma suffered a cardiac arrest at home and transferred to John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle and sadly passed away suddenly.

To ensure Joby’s mother receives the best possible care; we need to arrange for a repatriation flight to transport Mrs. John back to Kerala, India for funeral services. The associated medical expenses and repatriation costs are substantial.

We kindly ask for your financial support to help cover to support family in this tough situation.
