Supporting Jimmy & Deneen McBeath
Many of you know the smiling face of Deneen McBeath, who regularly goes above and beyond to help others. Now is our time to help Deneen!
Recently, her husband Jimmy was diagnosed with ALS, which is a fast progressing neurodegenerative disease that affects the nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord, causing loss of muscle control. This eventually results in the loss of the ability to walk, the use of hands, speech, ability to swallow and eventually the loss of the ability to breath. People who are diagnosed with ALS get the grim news of having a survival period of only 2 to 5 years.
In addition to the burden of dealing with such a devastating disease, Deneen and Jimmy are also the primary caregivers for two of their grandchildren -- Sean (12) and Jacob (13), who has autism and requires special care.
In spite of these challenges, Deneen continues a tenacious positive attitude while working full time as a Temp at Heidelberg.
With mounting medical expenses to treat Jimmy's ALS, we want to help pay Deneen's bills so she can focus on helping her family during this difficult time. Any donation is greatly appreciated! Please also keep Deneen, Jimmy, and her family in your thoughts and prayers at this time.
