Margie DeGraw Rich, and her husband, Jim Rich, had their life change suddenly and drastically on Oct. 17, 2022. Jim underwent brain surgery at UCLA Medical Center to remove a glioblastoma tumor, a very aggressive type of cancer that begins in the brain. If you know Margie, you know a sweet, funny, supportive, and loyal friend. She recently found the love of her life in Jim, and they married in June 2021. But now it’s a tough road ahead for them. Jim is still hospitalized in Southern California, 3 hours from their home in Ridgecrest. He is fighting to recover, to move again, to talk again. Soon, he’ll begin radiation and chemotherapy. Margie has stopped working and is by his side every day. This fund will help them continue the fight and help pay for medical bills and accommodations. Every little bit will help.
