Supporting Jessica in Her Cancer Battle

Hi everyone!

For those who don’t know or are just finding out, on November 15th, Jessica was diagnosed with Stage 3 Triple Negative Inflammatory Breast Cancer that has traveled to her lymph node. Inflammatory breast cancer is rare and makes up only 1-5% of breast cancer cases. Jessica’s age also makes it rare. With that being said, she has an aggressive treatment plan ahead, starting with chemotherapy once a week from December 6th to approximately April 29th, 2025. Once chemotherapy is completed, she will undergo a double mastectomy, followed by daily radiation for an undetermined amount of time. She has a long road to recovery ahead of her. Jessica has been getting so many thoughtful messages asking if there’s anything that can be done to help. We figured this would be a way for us all who love Jess to pitch in.

Diet is such a huge part of successful cancer treatment which leads Jess to be putting forward great efforts in juicing fruits and vegetables and cleanses. Things like DoorDash, nutritious meals and even groceries, are critical and some of the best things we can do for Jess and her family. One of her greatest concerns is normalcy throughout this journey for her boys, Connor & Casey. Dinner time may look a little different moving forward and keeping that normalcy for the boys will provide Jess with incredible strength and gratitude.

Jess will also be seeking a second opinion to ensure she’s getting the best possible treatment out there. As of right now we’re looking at San Francisco, San Diego and possibly Texas if needed. This will obviously require travel and out of pocket expenses, so we’ve also created a GoFundMe to help offset some of the financial burden on Jess and her family.
