Jean Mills is known by many as an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, friend and colleague... A soft spoken women who has always shown love, integrity and patience in all situations  
We were devastated to learn that she has ALS. Her condition worsened in December and eventually she was hospitalized, where she remains today.  

I had the opportunity to work with Jean at San Diego School District for many years. She quickly changed from a colleague to a friend. She was known for her bright smile and kind, encouraging approach to every situation. It was obvious that her family and her faith were most important to her. Her face lit up as she spoke often of her husband Skip, (retired teacher from Serra High School), and her three children. Obviously the loves of her life. ❤️ When she retired, it gave her more time to spend with her growing family, which now includes three beautiful grandchildren. Many have asked how they can support her and her family during this difficult time. Please give whatever you are able to show support to Jean and her family.  Hugs to Jean as she continues to fight the ALS battle.
