Sadly, Jaysen’s father passed away unexpectedly this weekend, turning his world upside down. Jaysen’s father had just turned 45 on Friday and passed away in his sleep from what doctor’s suspect was a brain aneurysm. Not only is he coping with the loss of his parent, but he’s also dealing with new, unexpected financial burden. Jaysen is a junior at TCNJ college and had been living with his father and commuting to his college campus. Now, with the loss of his father, Jaysen has to commute over a hour just to attend classes.

On top of all this, Jaysen’s car situation has become critical. Without reliable transportation due to legalities in the title of the car he has been using following the death of his father, he will no longer have a way to get to school and his job. He’s determined to finish his semester and continue working, but getting to campus and work each day has become a huge challenge, and will only become more challenging with the inevitable loss of his car within the month.

The funds raised here will go directly toward helping Jaysen get a new car, so he can finish his semester strong and keep his job.
