My name is Jay, and I am putting this fundraiser together for the people who mean the absolute world to me: my family.

Recently, our lives were completely shattered when we suddenly and tragically lost my brother. Anyone who knows our family knows how deep our bond is, but this devastating loss has completely turned our world upside down. We are dealing with a level of heartbreak that I wouldn't wish on anyone.

While we are doing everything we can to navigate this intense grief and just survive each day, the harsh reality of the world doesn't pause. Bills, rent, and daily living expenses keep coming, even when your entire world has stopped spinning.

Watching the heavy toll this has taken on my parents and my sister is incredibly painful. As a brother and a son, I want to do everything in my power to shield them right now.
