Chloe Miller passed away on May 13th, 2026, surrounded by love, after a 9-year battle with a rare brain cancer, just after celebrating her 9th birthday. She fought cancer for nearly her entire life, enduring numerous brain surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, experimental treatments, and side effects. Chloe was a creative, funny, and sassy girl who lit up every room. She loved arts & crafts, dancing, music, her dog Minnie and being with family. She had a quick wit, fiery personality, and showed bravery every day. She was a student at Belmont Hills Elementary School and was a member of Girl Scout Troop 21647.
Chloe is survived by her devoted and loving dad, Jared, who has been her sole provider and caregiver. Their bond was unmatched and special! Even on her sickest and hardest days, Jared could find a way to make her smile. Their love story is one of laughter, fun, resilience and bravery. Jared has taken exceptional care of Chloe's complex medical needs, day-to-day care needs, frequent doctor's appointments, hospital stays, and loving her, while maintaining a business.
Our family is so proud of how Jared has learned to take care of a child with cancer, learning about treatments, medical procedures, and collaborating with the amazing care team at CHOP. Jared made the very difficult yet selfless and generous decision to donate Chloe’s brain to research with the hopes of helping to save other children with this rare cancer.
In addition to the immense heartbreak of losing his daughter, the love of his life, Jared has been facing intermittent loss of income for several years, especially in these last few weeks, and now costs surrounding Chloe’s funeral. If able, please consider donating to help relieve the financial stressors and burden related to Chloe’s care and costs surrounding the funeral. With gratitude, Jared’s family.
