For many years, she served our community as a dedicated school and 4-H bus driver, safely transporting generations of local children and always greeting them with kindness, patience, and a warm smile. To so many families in our area, Janet wasn’t just “the bus driver” — she was a trusted, familiar presence who played a small but meaningful role in their children’s daily lives.

Recently, Janet’s family received heartbreaking news. After weeks of unexplained health struggles, doctors discovered that Janet has stage 4 pancreatic and liver cancer. The diagnosis has been sudden, devastating, and overwhelming for everyone who loves her.

As the family focuses on spending meaningful time together and navigating the medical decisions ahead, they are also facing significant financial stress from medical care and related expenses.

We are starting this fundraiser to help ease that burden so the family can focus on what truly matters right now — supporting Janet and being together during this incredibly difficult time.
