Our brilliant friend Jamie Hardesty had an accident while doing one of the things he loves most - hiking in the mountains in Wales.
Jamie is in ICU in Liverpool. He's doing well but sustained some serious injuries, including a broken back, and has a long road to recovery ahead.
His wife Sammy is by his side, visiting him daily in conditions still determined by Covid restrictions.
This fund is to help Jamie and Sammy with daily living costs, such as Sammy's hotel accommodation in the immediate term, and to support them both in the longer term as Jamie recovers.
Please donate whatever you can - this will go some small way to supporting Jamie and Sammy at this challenging time.
We'll add updates on Jamie's progress to this page to keep you informed - please use this as the main way to check in on him for the foreseeable. Whilst Sammy is grateful for all the messages, it's difficult for her to keep on top of the volume received!
