In February this year, James was given a shock and unexpected diagnosis of Testicular cancer.

This was devastating for him, his family and friends and we all remained hopeful. This type of cancer generally has a very high curable success rate with surgery which James underwent in March. We were all hopeful it would be cured at that point but unfortunately for James it wasn’t the case.

His cancer is aggressive and has spread to lymph nodes in his abdomen.

James is currently in his second week of nine intensive chemotherapy sessions.

We all hope and pray that this cancer will be cured and James can get back to living his life and working.

After 5 years serving in the Irish army James chose a different career path as an electrician which he was In his final phase and due to qualify this year but since diagnosis he hasn’t worked and won’t for the foreseeable future.
