Supporting Jade Hoye's Family

On Thanksgiving Eve 2022, our dear friend Jade Hoye was in a very serious car crash. In the 4months since the accident, Jade has been under comprehensive care - back and forth between the ICU and rehabilitation centers - to deal with his various significant brain and bodily injuries. While Jade has made some great progress over that time, the journey ahead is a long and arduous one with no certain outcomes. The financial burden on his family (his wife Kristi and 3 beautiful children) is overwhelming.

We're launching this go-fund me to help support his family - with all funds going directly to benefit his 3 beautiful children.

About Jade:

Jade Hoye is a family man, friend, entrepreneur and producer who many of you have come to know intimately over the past 10 years. If you're a local central CT resident, you might have gotten to know Jade as a loving husband to Kristi and father to his 3 beautiful young children. He would often attend and participate in local government issues, trying to always make things better for the members of his community. If you're an NBA fan you've come to know him as the producing mastermind behind ESPN's Truehoop, Count the Dings and The Athletic's NBA programming. But the common thread that Jade always cared about the most was bringing people together and building community. He lived to help people, to connect with people and in reality that's the reason his production style was so unique and so innovative. He brought together different people, encouraged them to be themselves and allowed them to have real conversations - no matter where they ended up.

Over the years, Jade has been the first person to offer to help the people around him. Whether they were co-workers, listeners to his pods, members of his local community or most importantly his friends and family - Jade was never too busy to help. Now is a time when he and his family need our help.

We're raising funds to support Kristi and their kids financially during Jade's long road to recovery. The injuries Jade sustained were extremely significant, and it will be a very long and expensive journey before Jade can hopefully return to work. Additionally, while Jade is unable to work, his family does not have his salary to help support the various normal expenses of life.

It is our hope, that with the help of the community around us, that we can raise $100,000 to help his family through this tough time. All proceeds will go directly to Kristi and the kids.
