Supporting Jacob Leukemia journey

Hi everyone, Im reaching out to ask for help. My friend Lisa who is a single mom of three boys had her youngest son diagnosed with leukemia last week. She is going to need all the help she can get to get through the next year. Jacob will not be going to school and will need around the clock watch. This means she will be juggling working from home, aiding Jacob needs and tending to her other kids. This is a burden no one person should have to carry on their own and so I ask all of you to please donate to help her get through all this. Even if its a dollar.

 

Her post below only ask for prayers but I know the fear of how shes going to juggle it all is waying heavy on her heart.

Earlier this week, my whole world turned upside down when we received the news that my youngest son, Jacob, was diagnosed with Leukemia Pre B ALL. Hes been in the hospital for over week, going through a multitude of tests, biopsies and blood transfusions. A port was placed and he began chemo this past Thursday. We are waiting for additional test results to know whether the current treatment plan will continue or of a more aggressive plan will be needed. This is easily one of the worst nightmares that a parent and siblings can go through. We are just in the beginning stages and have a long road ahead of us. My heart is broken and there really aren't words to describe the emotions, but if you're the praying kind, please, please pray for my sweet little boy. We are hopeful to bring him home this Thursday and will provide updates along the way. ❤
