Supporting Jace Through His Stem Cell Transplant Journey
Donation protected
Our name is Sean and Tiffany we are the proud parents of 2 sweet boys Remy 4 and Jace 7. Our story is for our strong amazing happy boy Jace who was diagnosed in 2021 with B-Cell ALL leukemia. Went through treatments and surgerys untill november 2023 when he got to ring his completion bell. Unfortunately he relapsed in March 2024.
As we were working on normalizing life again, Jace began to experience really bad migraines to which he struggled with school, had to spend days in his room with no lights. I eventually had to pull him from school due to a lack of understanding of jaces illness from his teachers and were making it harder on jace.
When taken to the doctors he was also showing signs of a sinus infection but due to lack of information transmitted between hospitals about jaces eyesight as well struggling..Jace was only treated for a sinus infection. The next day Jace woke up and had so much pressure built up, it pushed his eyes inward and he had double blurry vision. We rushed him to vanderbilt. At the beginning of march Jace was rediagnosed with Relapse with optic nerve involvement. Which meant the leukemia had spread to his eyes. Jace then spent an agonizing month and half in the hospital, he was suffering from such extreme headachs no medicine could help and causing even more issues for him. He was having multiple spinal taps a week to relieve pressure which didn't help right away. Finally after the pain and pressure went down Jace was able to come home and was put on a 24/7 chemo for 2 rounds of 28 days he had to carry around in a backpack. During these months aside from the headachs Jace has kept a strong head and willpower. He told me and his daddy to be strong because he was here and he was going to be ok. Not once did he complain about having to wear his backpack and the restrictions it put on him or even the fact that he was back in the hospital. All jace wants to do is have fun and be happy and be loved. He craves to make others happy and pleased. He has yet to let this bring his spirits down, which helps mommy and daddy stay strong for him.
Jace will now start the process of getting stem cell transplant because his doctors don't think jaces body can stay in remission. We are starting this gofundme to help over the next 2 months of all the doctors visits and missed worked days. The minimum stay is 5 weeks in the hospital during this time to make sure his body can handle the transplant. Then we have to stay in Nashville for 3 months after to be closer to the hospital due to quick side effects.
Above all we ask for your prayers and good vibes for Jace to get through this next step of hopefully a cure. If your not able to donate just sharing our story can go along way. Any donation is extremely appreciated. Thank you all in advanced for even taking the time to read our story.
