On the 1st of May 2025, my life changed forever. I was riding my motorcycle when I was involved in a serious road traffic collision. The accident wasn’t my fault, but it left me with a devastating spinal cord injury. In an instant, I lost the ability to walk, and my world was turned upside down.

The hardest part hasn’t just been the physical pain—it’s the impact on my family. I used to be an active father, always playing football with my children, running around with them, and sharing those everyday moments that mean so much..

Despite these life‑changing injuries, I refuse to give up. I am determined to fight for my future—for myself, and for my family. My hope lies in undergoing a pioneering stem cell transplant in Colombia, a treatment that could give me the chance to regain mobility and independence. But this procedure comes at a significant cost, and I cannot achieve it alone.

During my recovery, I spent two months in the Royal Hospital receiving intensive treatment and care. Following this, I continued my rehabilitation at Musgrave Park Hospital, where I began the challenging but vital process of learning how to use a wheelchair. The support and guidance I received there helped me adapt to new circumstances and build the skills needed to regain independence in daily life.
