My name is Gayatri and I am raising funds on behalf of Isha’s family. We are raising funds for Isha Rani and her family as they face an unimaginable tragedy.

Isha came to Canada two years ago as an international student with hopes of completing her degree at WCC and building a brighter future. Sadly, before she could finish her studies, she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of blood cancer.

Her condition deteriorated rapidly, and she is now critically ill in the hospital. Despite the medical team’s efforts, several of her organs have failed. Her doctors have informed the family that she is not expected to survive this hospital admission.

Isha’s family is going through overwhelming emotional and financial hardship. Her father passed away in December 2022, and her family in India is not financially stable and currently lives in a rented home. Being so far away while Isha is critically ill has made this already devastating situation even more painful.

We are asking our community to come together and support Isha’s family during this heartbreaking time. The funds raised will help with urgent family expenses, travel-related costs, and any difficult arrangements the family may need to make in the coming days.
