Supporting Isaac

Isaac was hanging out at Nana’s when he tripped and fell into the campfire. He has 2nd degree burns to his hands and face and is at the burn unit in Madison until Wednesday at the earliest. The biggest concerns are the location of the burns, and that it was a dirty campfire, adding to the infection risk.

Mom stays home and runs a daycare, and they have another child with special needs, who Dad is staying home with while Mom and Isaac are in the hospital.

They are incurring travel expenses, lost wages, and food expenses, as well as medical expenses that insurance may not cover. I am a local (Stevens Point) friend of Laura’s and plan to be withdrawing the funds into her account this week to assist her with covering these expenses.
