My name is Claudia and I'm fundraising for my friend Iris Catholique. Iris has been dealing with more than any one person should as she faces stage 4 cancer while living in the very remote community of Łutsël K’é in the Northwest Territories, Canada. Her chemo treatments alone require a flight to the capital of Yellowknife every few weeks, with additional treatments requiring even longer trips to Edmonton from Yellowknife (18+ hours drives). Even though there is medical travel support by the government, a lot of these expenses still comes out of pocket and are a real financial burden. My hope with this campaign is that we can help Iris and family with some of these financial stresses so she can instead focus her energies on her healing journey.

Her next chemo appointment is October 15th so let's come together now as northerners to help one of our own in need of our support.
