Hi everyone, this is Georges.

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support once again, as my family and I continue to stand by my incredible mother, Maguy, who is bravely battling ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis).

She has been hospitalized at Hôtel-Dieu de France since March 21. Unfortunately, we recently discovered that her entire hospital stay—from March 21 to April 9—was not covered by her insurance due to a scam. She returned home for just two days, during which I managed to secure a new insurance plan for both her and my retired father. Sadly, her condition worsened and she was re-admitted to the hospital, where she is now in the ICU.

As many of you know, the situation in Lebanon is extremely difficult. Our personal savings are frozen in the banks, and with my father retired, it's becoming increasingly hard to manage the enormous costs of this disease.

We're doing everything we can to support her, but the financial burden is growing—and we truly need your help.

Attached are two official documents:

A proforma invoice from Libano-Suisse Insurance showing the annual premium of $7,577, which we need to pay to ensure her continued medical coverage.

A hospital statement from Hôtel-Dieu with a current bill of $12,000 for her stay over the past two weeks.

Thanks to your incredible support during our last fundraiser, we were able to purchase the essential eye tracker, which significantly improved her quality of life. We are endlessly grateful for that.

Now, we are once again in a moment of urgent need. Every donation—no matter the amount—makes a difference, especially here in Lebanon, where we receive no governmental support.
