As most of you know I recently found out I have invasive cervical cancer. Today I found out it’s stage 3 b. It has spread to my bladder and tissues around my cervix but not out side of my pelvic area so far. I’m going to start a trial study this upcoming week and then in a few weeks I’ll start radiation 5 days a week Monday-Friday. And then also chemo 2 days a week Monday and Tuesday. The radiation will be downtown about 40 mins from my house. I haven’t worked in a few weeks because the drs gave me restrictions that make me unable to preform my job. So I’m on FMLA. Which is unpaid leave. I’m making this to help with the cost of gas to get back and forth to the treatments, groceries, and I’m behind on my rent, unfortunately. I have applied for help through the government but haven’t heard back in the last two weeks for my medical or food stamps. I did hear back from unemployment and I was denied because I’m unable to work so they had me apply for disability. That’ll take a few weeks to get approved or not. Anything will help me through these tough times! And I appreciate everyone who has reached out to me, there for me, willing to help! It’s definitely a crazy thing to go through at 32 years old! I will continue to update everyone as this process is going on.
