Life took a sudden turn on April 15 when our mother, Heather, suffered a stroke while leading a tour in Italy. She has been hospitalized since then and will undergo treatment in Italy until she is fit to fly home to Utah for continued care. The stroke affected the left side of her body, leaving her arm paralyzed and her leg and core weakened, rendering her unable to walk on her own. Despite the challenges, she remains positive and hopeful, believing that with dedication, she can regain the use of her arm and leg. As the main provider for her children, she will be unable to work for many months, adding to the financial strain of her care and travel expenses. Let's come together to support Heather during this difficult time, demonstrating the same love and generosity she has always shown to others. Heather's humble nature often shies away from asking for help, preferring to be the giver rather than the receiver.
