Anyone who knows me, knows that Heather is my best friend. What they may not know is that Heather has been battling cancer since 2023. At just 29 years old, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, leading to multiple surgeries and seemingly endless chemotherapy treatments. With the support of her medical team, family, and friends Heather beat it and looked to be in the clear from cancer.
However, the past few months she has been feeling tired with no way to regain the energy she once had. Her doctor decided to do a bone marrow biopsy and other work ups following a routine checkup.
Last week on the 26th of February, Heather was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), an aggressive form of blood cancer that requires immediate and intensive treatment. After her appointment today, the doctors have decided
Heather is the kindest, softest soul in the world. She is a wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, granddaughter and friend. And she has already suffered so much. We are asking you to help ease her stress as she faces extended hospital stays, aggressive chemotherapy, and the possibility of a bone marrow transplant. Due to her illnesses she has been unable to work for most of the past year, has been paying for insurance out of pocket, and does not qualify for disability.
Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward:
-Upcoming medical expenses and treatments
-Past medical debts
-Household bills and living expenses
Even if you are unable to help financially, please share this page and keep Heather in your thoughts and prayers. Your support means everything to us as we come together to show Heather she is not alone in this fight.
