It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our colleague and friend, Clay Watson, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Clay joined Penske in 2011 as a Technical Support Assistant, building a respected career within the Technical Services team. Over the years, he progressed through several roles including Reginal Technical Manager for Western Star Detroit and Dennis Eagle and CX- TEM support Manager, becoming widely admired by colleagues across the business for his expertise and his unwavering commitment to the team.

Clay was far more than a valued and talented member of our organisation. He was a genuinely kind person whose warmth, generosity and sense of humour made a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Even during the most difficult moments of his illness, Clay showed remarkable resilience and positivity, qualities that inspired so many around him.

At just 39, Clay leaves behind his beloved wife Hayley and their two young children, Lacey aged 8 and Taylor aged 6. Their loss is immeasurable, and our hearts go out to them during this incredibly difficult time.

To help support Hayley and the family, Clay's friends at Penske have established this GoFundMe page to assist with funeral arrangements and any financial support the family may need in the months ahead.

In recognition of Clay’s contribution to our organisation, Penske will match every dollar raised through this page, dollar for dollar.

There is absolutely no obligation for you to contribute, though if you are, any support, big or small, will help provide some relief for Clay’s family during this time of grief.

Most importantly, we hope this page stands as a reminder of the positive impact Clay had on so many people. He will be deeply missed by colleagues, friends and everyone who knew him.
