Aloha,
Our names are Leanski and Bo, and for the past five years our mission has been to bring a high-level dance event to Hawaiʻi—one that deeply engages the local community while welcoming world-class international competitors and artists to the islands. These artists don’t just come to compete; they give back by hosting free workshops, sharing knowledge, and connecting with our local scene.
Our goal has always been to highlight and uplift Hawaiʻi’s local artists, while gifting the wider community a FREE event that reflects the culture, values, and spirit of what we are building together. Each year, we work tirelessly to raise funds through sponsors and local businesses to support the many moving parts required to produce an event of this scale.
This year, due to unforeseen circumstances, we were forced to rebrand and rebuild much of our marketing and social media from the ground up. While we believe this will ultimately strengthen the event long-term, it has made fundraising more challenging in the short term. We are incredibly grateful to our current sponsors who have already pledged their support, but we have not yet reached the funding needed to fully realize the vision we believe Hawaiʻi truly deserves.
Over the years, we have consistently invested our own personal funds to keep this event alive—and that commitment hasn’t changed. The dream will continue, even if it means reaching deep into our own pockets once again. However, this year we are humbly asking our community for support.
We are seeking help to cover essential costs such as sound setup, media production, and compensating judges and DJs who are traveling to Hawaiʻi to work the event.
This event is truly a labor of love, and as long as we are able, we will always find a way to make it happen—with community at the heart of everything we do.
Mahalo for your support. And if you’re unable to donate, please come and be part of the experience—your presence is the greatest gift of all.
With gratitude,
Leanski & Bo
