My name is Lauren, and I am a very close friend of Hannah. Hannah was born with a heart defect and has undergone many heart surgeries throughout her life.

On 20 December, after a long and difficult wait, a donor heart became available and Hannah underwent a heart transplant. She has now been in ICU for the past 10 days, asleep with a breathing tube, while doctors carefully support her recovery.

Hannah is Muslim, and our family and friends are holding her in our prayers and welcome any prayers or duas during this critical time.

I am creating this GoFundMe on Hannah’s behalf as she faces a long road to recovery. During this time, rent, bills and daily living expenses continue, adding financial stress to an already overwhelming situation.
