Hi everyone,

I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my sister, Hannah, during an incredibly difficult and unexpected time for our family.

Hannah’s fiancé, John, is currently in the hospital after suffering a serious brain bleed. At this time, he is sedated while doctors closely monitor him and determine the best course of treatment. He is expected to face a long road ahead, including weeks in the ICU followed by many months of hospitalization and recovery. Right now, our focus is on taking things one day at a time and supporting his healing.

This situation is made even more challenging because Hannah and John have a daughter, and this medical emergency happened out of state. Hannah is now having to split her time between being by her fiancé’s side in the hospital and being there for their daughter at home. This means frequent travel, time away from work, and the emotional toll of trying to support both of them during such an uncertain time.

This GoFundMe is meant to help provide a cushion to cover flights back and forth, missed income, childcare needs, everyday bills, and the many unexpected expenses that come with a long hospital stay. Our hope is that Hannah can focus on caring for her family without the added stress of financial strain.
