Supporting Greyson Filer and Family

On August 10th, Sara (Mendillo) and Jay Filer welcomed their baby boy, Greyson, at 29 weeks. Greyson was born weighing a little over 3 pounds and measuring 16 inches long. Like many premature babies, life is coming with some amazing milestones as well as some struggles along the way. Greyson has proven to keep mommy and daddy on their toes.

Many family and friends have asked us what they can do to support the Filers on this road they didn’t know they’d be traveling down. We have set up this account to help offset the expenses they are already experiencing daily. Gas, parking, food, and daily living all add up quickly, and the last thing we want them to have to worry about is finances.

We know that Greyson should be growing on the inside, while instead he’s doing some work in the NICU at Crouse and will be for some time. We want to allow Sara and Jay the opportunity to be there for him while they also take care of Jacey and Branson and run their house.

The three “Sarahs” have always been old Sarah, young Sara and nice Sarah…. We think we are ready to welcome Sara to the mom’s club…so Mama Sara, we are happy to have you. We are here to support you and your family.
