Hi everyone,

My name is Chantelle, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my neighbour and friend, Graeme Webb, and his family ❤️

On Tuesday, December 9th, Graeme was suddenly hospitalized after experiencing numbness in the lower half of his body. Doctors soon discovered a rare spinal condition called a spinal dural arteriovenous fistula, and he underwent open back surgery on December 13th. While the surgery was successful, his recovery is expected to take up to a year or longer.

Graeme is a devoted husband to his wife, Jill, and an amazing dad to their two boys, Colton (14) and Anderson (9). Because of the severity of his condition and surgery, he will be unable to work for the foreseeable future as he focuses on healing and rehabilitation. Sadly, it’s also looking like Graeme won’t be home to spend Christmas with his family.

The family’s extended health benefits will not fully cover his medical needs or the loss of 50% of the family's income.
