In the early hours of the 27th of September, our sister Gracie and our dear family friend Lotus were involved in a devastating car accident. Their car veered off the road and collided head-on with a tree.

Thanks to an emergency alert sent from one of their phones, authorities were able to contact their parents and begin the search. An hour later, the girls were finally found—frightened, injured, and in desperate need of help. They were rushed to Mackay Hospital where they are now receiving treatment.

Gracie has suffered severe injuries, including significant damage to her pelvis, leg, and wrist. Lotus is experiencing loss of feeling in her lower limbs, and her recovery journey remains uncertain. Both girls face a long and difficult road ahead.

This fundraiser has been set up to help ease the financial and emotional strain on both families during this heartbreaking time. The costs of ongoing medical care, travel, time off work, and the many unforeseen expenses are already beginning to add up.
