Hello everyone,
Thank you so much for your support last year—it truly made a difference.
I’m excited to share that I have returned to India to volunteer once again at a youth medical camp serving children living in rural, government-run hostels. This program has been incredibly impactful, supporting both the immediate health needs and long-term futures of these children. Through this work, we’ve provided preventive health education, medical care, and specialist referrals, with much of the care funded through government programs and private foundations.
During my time here, I also have witnessed the significant challenges many young girls face when pursuing higher education and career opportunities. In many cases, girls are encouraged to marry during or shortly after high school, or are withdrawn from school to work and help support their families financially. These realities make access to vocational education especially critical.
Vocational training empowers young women with specialized, lifelong skills—such as becoming radiology technicians, echocardiogram technicians, laboratory technicians, or tailors—offering them independence, stability, and opportunity. Unfortunately, many of these students cannot afford tuition for these programs, and there is often a lack of proper equipment to support effective learning and hands-on training.
This year, I am hoping to raise funds to help purchase essential training equipment and to provide tuition support for several female students enrolled in these vocational programs. Your support would mean the world to me—and even more to these young women striving for a better future. Any contribution, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated.
Thank you so much for your generosity, and please help spread the word!
