Supporting Genevieve

Meet Genevieve. (Ok that’s a picture of me, not Genevieve.) Genevieve is a soul friend, a sister. She’s a talented hair stylist and colorist. As you can see by the perfectly pink, post-breast-cancer look she gave me. 

Genevieve is also mom to a wonderful two-year-old, we’ll call Bunny. As with so many in the service industry right now, she is out of work. She is living out the terrifying and stressful first year after leaving an abusive partner. She has ZERO functional blood relatives for support. She knows she has a place to go if it gets really bad, but living with me and my husband and my preschooler would be another layer of chaos for Genevieve and Bunny. 

Genevieve is strong. She’s a fighter. She gets stuff done. She stands up for what she believes. She is an amazing mother and the best type of friend. 

Please join me in raising around three months of living expenses so Genevieve and Bunny can have an ounce of stability amid the quicksand-trainwreck- sewage swamp-of-a-year they have had. If the goal is reached, feel free to keep contributing. No one knows how long this virus situation and social isolation are going to last.
