We were school friends of Sahilpreet Singh. He belonged to a small village named Khiwa Khurd in Mansa, Punjab. In 2024, he came abroad (Surrey) with the hope of building a better future for himself and his family.
While living away from home, Sahilpreet faced immense emotional and mental stress. He was deeply worried about his parents back in India—his father was hospitalized, and his mother was going through depression. Being far from his family and unable to support them directly caused him constant anxiety. Alongside this, he was under significant pressure regarding his studies and future.
Sahilpreet was living alone in a private room and remained largely isolated. Over time, the stress and loneliness began to affect his health. He gradually lost contact with his friends for several days, which raised serious concern.
When his friends went to check on him, they tragically found him deceased in his locked room. It was later determined that he had suffered a heart attack. His body was discovered after five days.
Sahilpreet was a kind-hearted, sincere, and responsible individual who carried his struggles silently. His sudden and untimely passing has left his family, friends, and entire village in deep grief.
To support his family during this difficult time, we are raising funds to cover his last funeral rites and to provide financial assistance to his grieving parents. Any support or contribution will be deeply appreciated and will help his family cope with this immense loss.
