My brother, Ernie Bryant, is a hard worker in every sense of the word. He is a business owner who built his life through dedication, grit, and integrity. More than anything, he is a devoted husband and an incredible father — the kind of man who puts his family first in everything he does.

Today, he is in the ICU fighting for his life.

What began as bacterial meningitis quickly became far more complicated. He was admitted to the Neuro ICU on January 9. He is now battling the effects of flu, pneumonia, a DVT, seizures, and multiple small strokes. Each complication has added another layer to an already terrifying situation, and our family is taking this journey one breath, one prayer, and one day at a time.

His wife, Darla, has taken a leave of absence from work so she can remain by his side — advocating for him, loving him, and holding their family together during the hardest chapter of their lives.

I have created this fundraiser because so many people have asked how they can help. While Ernie and his family would never ask for support themselves, the reality is that this season carries enormous emotional, physical, and financial weight.
