Erin Niell was a special education teacher at Insight School of Washington.

Erin died suddenly and unexpectedly on December 1, 2025 of a ruptured brain aneurysm. The medical examiner’s opinion is that her death was without pain. Two of her children (20 and 26 years old), who lived with Erin, were with her at the time of her passing. In addition to processing the shock of this loss, they are assessing their options for future housing.

Erin is survived by her three adult children and daughter-in-law, her parents, her brother and his spouse and child, her aunt, her uncle, and many cousins, friends, and students.

This Go Fund Me is to support Erin’s immediate family as they adjust to the loss.
